Founder of Aakash Educational Services buys property in Delhi

Founder of Aakash Educational Services Ltd (AESL), Jagdish Chand Chaudhry bought a residential property in south Delhi for Rs 51 crore from Infinity Buildwell Pvt Ltd. 

The property is in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash – 1, has 836.12 sq metres plot area. Jagdish Chaudhry has paid stamp duty of Rs 3.06 crore.

In 2021, Byju’s said it is acquiring tutorial chain Aakash Educational Services. AESL promoters hold a minority stake in the company. Chaudhry family has bought four properties since the Byju’s transaction. 

Few months ago, Aakash Chaudhry, co-founder and managing director of AESL, bought a bungalow in Kautilya Marg, Diplomatic Enclave for Rs 137 crore which was one of the largest individual property transactions lately.
